Speaker 1:

Romans 8, 14 to 17. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received, the Spirit you received, does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again. Rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship, and by him we cry Abba, father. The Spirit himself testifies, with our spirit, that we are God's children. Now, if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his suffering in order that we may also share in his glory. This is God's word, and gospel said we may be seated as we pray. Heavenly Father, we take a pause because we know that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds. So, lord, as I speak beyond my words, may your word that proceeds. So, lord, as I speak beyond my words, may your word come through. May your word feed, may your word encourage, may your word strengthen. May your word bring satisfaction to our spirits. And, father, what a blessing to be in God's house. Lord, we have celebrated, celebrated, we have worshipped, we have broken bread, we have given. Now we hear your word and we thank you that, lord, you never fail to give us a word in season and in time, and so we bless this word and bless it to each one of us. Holy Spirit cause there to be discernment, understanding, and all glory goes back to you because we have prayed in Jesus name and blessed to each one of us. Holy Spirit cause there to be discernment, understanding, and all glory goes back to you Because we have prayed in Jesus' name and God's people say Amen.

Speaker 1:

Today I want to talk about reset. Reset the Zoe life. Now, for those who have not been around this month, we are talking about Zoe Life, and Zoe Life is not something strange. Zoe Life is not a name for a perfume Hallelujah. Zoe Life is not a name for a nice little baby girl Hallelujah. Hallelujah for a nice little baby girl, hallelujah. Zoe is the name that the Bible uses for eternal life.

Speaker 1:

We are used to saying eternal life, but the Greek word for life is Zoe, differentiating it from our own personal lives. Our lives are biological lives, they are psychological lives, but there is a life that only originates from God himself. It's called eternal life. It is not everlasting life that you will live forever and ever and ever. It is not everlasting life that you will live forever and ever and ever. It is eternal life that originates with God, who has been, is and will ever be. This is the word that is used when God says For God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Speaker 1:

Zoe, this is the same word that Jesus said the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly. Apostle Paul describes it by saying if anyone is in Christ, he's a new creation. It's a new creation. It's a new creation. It's very unique. That's why we are talking about uncommon Zoe life and we want to reset because many people, though they claim salvation, though they claim that they are born again, though they claim they are grips, they are functioning like lemons.

Speaker 1:

Hello, jesus said I am the vine, you are the branches, my father is the gardener. If you abide in me and abide in you, you bear much fruit. Apart from me, you can do nothing. And so Pastor Keniti talked about grapes. I don't know if you bought grapes last week. Did any of you buy grapes? Now, some of you said it is too expensive. Anybody bought lemons. Anybody took a selfie On how you look like when you take a grape and then how you look like when you take a lemon Very different.

Speaker 1:

But many times we fail to take this Zoe life into our week Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday and sometimes it's basically because of ignorance. We don't know who we are. We don't know the amazing power that Zoe life has. You see, zoe life was not designed for us to enjoy it in heaven. Zoe life was given for us to enjoy it now. You can be saved now. You can live a victorious life now.

Speaker 1:

But when Zoe life comes, it is very different from a religious life. Many of us were brought up religiously and so our minds are full of religion. If you're born in a church called PCA, hallelujah. There is something in PCA they call Mutaratara, hello, hello. And sometimes you confuse that to being Christianity. That is not Christianity. That is not salvation. Baptists also have their own religious way of doing things.

Speaker 1:

Now, the reason Baptists are defined as Baptists is because they do what they baptize. Now, who do you think is the founder of the Baptist church? Who, okay, mommy, is saying John the Baptist. Now, of course, she's correct in one way, because John was called the Baptist. But let me tell you this If John the Baptist woke up today and looked at Baptists, he would die. John the Baptist is not the founder of the Baptist church, but Baptists are defined as the baptized people because they came out of a place where sprinkling was done. One day they read and found out the word baptism, baptism. Baptizo means to immerse, so they began to immerse people, immerse people, immerse people. And that time the Roman Catholic church was the one ruling everywhere. So people are being sprinkled. So when these few guys called Baptists, they were actually called the Anabaptists, anabaptists. Ana means again People who baptize. Again. They would baptize people and baptize people.

Speaker 1:

Now, through the years, that baptism has evolved and sometimes you'll find Baptists fighting, because the issue now is not whether you are saved, the issue is how you get baptized. Do you get baptized backwards, do you get baptized forward or are you dunked? There's one time I decided I will dunk and I thought I had sinned. I had not sinned. But there's a time I baptized a lady who was heavier than me and at that time we were used to baptizing people backwards, hallelujah. And so up there, where the band is, there's a baptistry. We'd go in there. And that particular day, when I saw her on the line, I said Jehovah, god, help me. Anyway, she came because that was the way we baptize people, that is the mode, and I thought even God sanctions people being baptized how Backwards. So this lady comes. She's bigger than me.

Speaker 1:

I position myself and I hold her and I say because of your confession of faith in Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name of the Father, son and the Holy Spirit. And then this is what you say you are buried with him in baptism through death. And so you take somebody backwards and you master. When I took her, we did not come back. You can just see the picture, pastor Kiniti. I don't know how you do it. So we struggled in the water, but we managed to get her back and from that day I said no more baptizing people Backwards. It will embarrass me all the time. So I decided I was going to baptize people downwards. I would tell them you're buried with him, because burial is burial. Whether you go this way or that way is burial. So I said, when I tell you you're buried, bend your knees and they would go back up. Now, which one do you think was divine? Backwards, forward or donkey? None was divine, it is just a method, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

So there are some things we become so religious that the actual life is not demonstrated. So whether you're in PCA, being in PCA is not bad, because some of us have just found ourselves in PCA. Because when the whites came they divided the country in various places. So the Church of Scotland hallelujah was able to get its niche. The Church of England got its niche, the Methodist Church got its place, aic, started by Scott in Ukambani, there was a niche. Thank God there are churches that were started in different places, so some of us were just found there.

Speaker 1:

But when you come to know Christ, christ is not PCA, christ is not Catholic. You can be Catholic all your life, but have Zoe life, hallelujah, have Zoe life. Same thing with religions. Islam is a religion, hinduism is a religion. But God says I did not come to bring a religion, I came to bring life, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. And that is why sometimes, when you're too hard on some things you're doing religiously, ask yourself is this what Jesus brought about?

Speaker 1:

In fact, one time Jesus told the Pharisees because their religion was Judaism. He told the Pharisees you keep the Sabbath so much, but what happens when the law says when a child is born, the child is circumcised. When? After how many days? After eight days. It doesn't matter which day he was baptized, it doesn't matter which day he was born, but after eight days you need to circumcise. Jesus asked them what if the circumcision falls on the Sabbath? What if? And you say no work on Sabbath, and yet you still circumcise? Because the law says circumcise on the eighth day? You are fulfilling the law on one side and breaking it on the other side.

Speaker 1:

And so Jesus was telling them my friend, the law had a purpose, but the law was not to bring life. The law was to prepare you for the life that was coming, and Jesus is the life. Let's give God a big hand. The Bible says he who has the son has life. He who does not have the son of God does not have life. I write this to you who believe in the name of the son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. This life, when it comes, it is not acted. You know, actors get roles to be somebody else and they are not to be somebody else and they are not. Zoe, life is a life that just flows in your life, it shines in your life, it manifests in your life.

Speaker 1:

I saw this demonstrated very seriously in my father's life. My father was a religious man and in his religiosity he took his wife to church and his children to church, but he stayed at home and relaxed with some glasses of Guinness for power. He knew that he had fulfilled his purpose. Wife at church, children at church that's what he did every day. But he did not know God. How do I know he did not know God?

Speaker 1:

My father used to trash me like nobody's business. I'm the firstborn of six children and all the punishment of the other five rested on me. And, by the way, I was a naughty guy. Let me tell these ones who may not believe it I was a naughty guy and so I needed some thrashing. But the parenting of the 1970s of some parents, my friend, if your dad thrashed you, the door was locked, the windows were closed and you were beaten and there was no way you were going to escape.

Speaker 1:

So when I got saved, I said my father has to get saved. This drinking and thrashing people must stop. And so I prayed for him and I prayed for him. And the more I prayed for him, the worse he became. And so I prayed for him and I prayed for him. And the more I prayed for him, the worse he became. Have you ever prayed for somebody? And they become worse. I'm talking to some wives praying for your husbands. Hello, prayed for him.

Speaker 1:

Then one day I told myself stop praying for him, tell him about Jesus. And so I went for a youth meeting and I was so excited, coming from that youth meeting, I could even speak and preach to mosquitoes. I was ready. My father, on the other hand, had just also gone to a meeting where he had imbibed certain spirits. So I'm coming in with the Holy Spirit. He's coming in with spirits. We meet, we never talk.

Speaker 1:

My father, first of all, is shocked that I'm talking to him. I look at my dad and say dad. So he gets shocked and he looks up and I told him you need to get saved and, dad, if you don't get saved, you're going to die. And dad, when you die, you're going to die. And dad, when you die, you're going to go to hell. And in hell, people burn. The first thing that burns is your small finger. It will burn for a thousand years. Then another finger will burn for a thousand years Now. At that time I'm talking so fast when I was trying to get my mind back, my dad says son, thank you for sharing all this. I knew it before you were born. Now, my crusade ended right there. Then he told me something that stopped everything else. He said son, have you done your homework? I decided I'm not going to talk to my dad again about Jesus Christ. Let him go to hell if he wants to go to hell.

Speaker 1:

Then I bought my mom a Bible and my mom began to read that Bible in her bedroom. My dad saw the Bible in the bedroom and my dad asked my mom, where did you get this Bible? And mom said Ambrose, your son gave it to me. So dad comes looking for me and he said Ambrose, come here. I said what? Where did you get this Bible? I said I bought it in town. He said I want a Bible just like this Bible. I said I bought it in town. He said I want a Bible just like this one. In my heart I said see, if you wanted a Bible, you just say nicely, we will get a Bible for you. But I got the Bible.

Speaker 1:

You know, sometimes God works in ways you cannot imagine. Sometimes we think we are looking for God. Kumbet, is God looking for us? Sometimes we think we are looking for God. Kumbet, is God looking for us? I got a Bible and when I gave it to him he began to read that Bible like he had never read a Bible before. He began to underline verses. And you know I passed through the sitting room every time I saw him reading the Bible and I said Jehovah, god, show him John 3.16. Father, show him John 3.16. That is the door to salvation. Show him John 3.16. Show him John 316. Father, show him John 316. That is the door to salvation. Show him John 316. Show him John 316.

Speaker 1:

And I prayed, and I prayed and for sure, dad got a verse. He said Ambrose, come here, I have found a verse. I said, yes, the verse has come. He says Ambrose, I've never seen a verse like this. Let me read it for you. Spare the road and spoil the child. This is an amazing verse, I said Lord. I said John 3.16. Not that one.

Speaker 1:

And you know my dad began to look for more verses like that one, because it really helped him to realize that the thrashing he had given to Ambrose was actually divine. And he looked for that verse. But he kept reading the Bible, kept on learning the Bible. His heart became softer and softer. One day he goes to church. Young man is preaching, young man gives an altar call and the first guy who went in front was my dad.

Speaker 1:

We didn't need to see dad change. Dad just changed. Something had entered into him. It is called Zoe life. Something changed in him. He softened his countenance, he was able to treat my mom differently, able to treat us differently. Something shifted and I want you to know when eternal life enters you, you don't have to announce it, people will see it. Something will happen, you will shift, you will change, not because you're trying to be religious, but because there is something inside you that is flowing, there is something inside you that is shining, there is something inside you that is manifesting. It is eternal life, the life of Jesus deposited inside you. And that is why I want to say we need to reset ourselves to this life that is inside you.

Speaker 1:

Three things I want to say about reset as we talk about reset the Zoe life. Number one reset the divine abundance, because Zoe life gives abundance. Reset to divine abundance, because Zoe life gives abundance. Reset To divine insight. Reset to divine reality. Let me talk about Abundance John 7. Jesus said this about Zoe life. John 7 37. Talks about a life that flows Unhindered.

Speaker 1:

On the last and greatest day of the festival, jesus stood and said in a loud voice let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me. As scripture has said, rivers of living water will do what Will flow from within them. By this he meant the Spirit whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. You see, when you receive Jesus, it's the Holy Spirit who enters you and he causes that life to flow. But that life, that river, comes from a spring that is abundant. God is connecting you to his abundance. And many times as believers, even though we have eternal life, we live like paupers, we live as people who lack, we live like orphans, and yet God has everything given to us. Abundance is given. Jesus said. I came that you may have life and have it abundantly.

Speaker 1:

An interesting illustration is the one found in John 6, when Jesus fed the 5,000. And what he was handling was the mindset of the disciples. You see, you can be saved, but your mindset needs to be renewed and shifted and reset to how God looks at things. So Jesus, in John 6, verse 1, the Bible says some time after this, jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee, that is, the Sea of Tiberias, and a great crowd so these were many people Followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples.

Speaker 1:

The Jewish Passover festival was near when Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him. He said to Philip where? Now? Listen to the question, because this is critical, because it shows you what kind of mindset you have when shall we buy bread for these people to eat? Where? Then, verse six, he asked this only to do what? To test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. Let me tell you this God has already decided what he's going to do in your life. God is going to bless you, but God is sometimes testing your mindset. Listen to Philip. Philip answered him. It would take more than a half a year's wages to buy enough bread. Now let me ask you what was he asked? He was asked where he's talking about how much. Now, of course you know that that is normal.

Speaker 1:

When you're invited to a hotel let's say Sankara, here, or Ibis, or the one that is down the road and you're invited, you're not paying but you're invited. Or Ibis, or the one that is down the road and you're invited, you're not paying but you're invited Hallelujah. Then the menu comes and you look at the menu and the guy who invited says you can eat anything, you're free. When you're looking at the menu, what is the first thing? You go? Looking for the price. Now, why look for the price when somebody is paying? Hallelujah. But that's how we are set, because we have been told you can go and eat in a hotel and you can be. The guy can jump you and say you have to pay for yourself and, like we say in Swahili, utachonga nini, utachonga viyazi. And because we don't want that, we always look at the cost.

Speaker 1:

Ladies go for dresses in shops. They check around, they find nice dresses, but then they ask for what? The price? Let me tell you this Jesus paid it all. Don't ask for the price, just receive eternal life and enjoy eternal life. Don't ask for how much.

Speaker 1:

But you see, jesus was trying to bring us to a place where we reset ourselves and realize the fact that God has given us new life. He has connected it to abundance and that is why, like Kenity was saying last week, if you abide in him and he abides in you, ask whatever you will and it shall be done for you. God is a father, god is a generous father, god wants to bless you beyond your imagination. When God caught up with Abraham, god says hey, I want to bless you, and then I want to make you. What A blessing. And God has connected us to abundance.

Speaker 1:

But something works in our minds. It is called the mindset of lack, the mindset of not enough, the mindset of I better have it before somebody else has it, let me of not enough, the mindset of I better have it before somebody else has it. Let me tell you this there is more than enough. I'm saying there is more than enough. We need to shift from thinking lack to tapping into the divine abundance. We need to flow from not having enough to thanking God for the overflow. God Jesus was able to feed 5,000 people.

Speaker 1:

If I went on to read that story, you'd find how they kept on talking. Andrew found a boy who had something and said. Andrew found a boy who had something and said but these are small fish and small loaves of bread. What is this among so many? And Jesus said don't worry, just put it in my hands. And when anything is put in his hands, the abundance of God flows. The abundance of God flows. The abundance of God flows. I pray that you'll connect to this abundance so that in the week you will not walk around as if you're an orphan, as if you're not connected. I want you to know you're connected to the King of Kings and to the Lord of Lords. Amen.

Speaker 1:

There's no situation that God cannot handle, but many times we tend to handle it for ourselves. It is when we are completely defeated that we turn to who. We turn to God. There was a slogan Kitambo. It was an advertisement In Kiswaili. It used to say Maumivu yakizidi muone daktari. You see, when things are just completely you have tried your best, you have taken aspirin, panadol, all kinds of things when that sickness continues, then look for a doctor. Listen to me. Jesus is saying, look for me fast and I will release abundance in your life, the abundance of joy, the abundance of joy, the abundance of love, the abundance of peace, the abundance of patience Some guys who are never patient, when they get saved, they become so patient, some guys who are always stretching and flipping suddenly became calm Because it was connected to the abundance of God. But secondly, reset to divine insight.

Speaker 1:

John 8.12 talks about Jesus saying something that was very key. He said this when Jesus spoke again to the people. He said I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Jesus says I'm light, and when we talk about light, he's talking about reset yourself to insight. God wants you to have insight Now in this situation.

Speaker 1:

It was a religious issue in John chapter 8. A woman was caught in the act of adultery. Those who caught her bring her to Jesus to test Jesus. They ask Jesus our law says a woman in this situation needs to be stoned to death. And they ask Jesus what do you say? Jesus goes on his knees Because this situation was kind of a dark situation. I don't know if you've ever found yourself in a dark situation and you don't have answers. And so Jesus shines his light into this situation. And Jesus goes on his knees and then he asks a question, if anyone of you has never sinned, be the first one to cast stone on this lady. That is insight. That is insight, that is wisdom. And I'm telling you, in the life we live in Monday to Monday, we need insight. Tell your neighbor, you need insight. Zoe, life will give you insight, will give you insight to handle situations that you don't know.

Speaker 1:

There are some questions when a woman asks are dangerous questions, especially if your wife asks you a question and, as a husband, you find yourself in a very difficult situation. She may ask you something like this Babe, am I fat? Now, how you as a man will answer that question is very important because it can take you anywhere, hello. And so there was a man who was asked that question and he posed kidogo because he knew the lady was not that fat. She just felt it, hello. And the man paused Kidogo to find out what does he do. Then he looked at the lady and says, ah, babe, you are fat. Before the wife could erupt. The husband says you are faithful, available and teachable. And the lady calmed down and says for sure I am. I am actually fat. Now.

Speaker 1:

For you to get an answer like that requires insight. You know, some of us think insight is required in religious things. No, insight is required in every level of your life, required even when you're sitting in front of a panel, interview panel and they are asking you questions like this how much would you like us to pay you if we take you? How you answer that question requires a lot of insight, hallelujah. How you answer the questions your children ask you requires a lot of insight, so that you don't answer what they are not asking.

Speaker 1:

King Solomon had that situation. Two ladies come. One says that this lady took my baby. I have a dead baby, but this baby is not mine. The baby who is alive is mine. And so they are arguing, arguing, arguing, and King Solomon needs to know what to do. Then insight comes in and he says, okay, fine, if you want the baby, fine, we are going to share the baby. So he tells the soldiers, bring a sword and cut this baby in half, give this woman the side of the head and give this other woman the side of the legs. Now the woman who knew that her baby was dead Started shouting. She said yes, I will take the side of the head, give the lady the legs, and the woman who knew this baby is hers and is alive. She said don't kill that baby, just give it to the woman. If she wants the baby, let her have the baby whole. Suddenly, solomon realized who the real mother of the baby was.

Speaker 1:

You need insight. I'm saying you need insight, zoe. Life inside you will give you insight, wisdom that you did not get in a library, wisdom that you did not get in a university, wisdom that you did not get in a university, wisdom that comes from above, divine insight. And let me tell you this we need it every day.

Speaker 1:

Paul on his way to Damascus, and he knew he was doing the right thing. He went killing believers, but on his way, light fell on him, so much light, and in that light he started talking to Jesus. Jesus told him what to do and Jesus told him go to Damascus. They'll tell you what to do. And so when Jesus left and Paul stood up, he was blind. He could not see for three days in total blackout, darkness. Ladies and gentlemen, you know, sometimes God will allow you to be in a blackout, not a blackout caused by the devil, but a blackout he has caused so that he can recalibrate your sight, so that you can begin to see what he wants you to see Hallelujah. After those three days, paul's eyes were open and from that day he began to preach that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what he did for those three days in darkness. Maybe he was praying and said oh God, what did I do? And if I did anything, god forgive me, god, have mercy with me. And he prayed all the prayers he could. But God was saying let me put you in darkness so that when I turn you back into light, you will see new things and you'll see it in a new way.

Speaker 1:

You know, sometimes we want everybody else to change except ourselves. And sometimes God says why don't I change you? And you'll suddenly find that everybody else looks different. You are the one who needs changing. You need the light that comes from above. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor reset to divine insight. Tell your neighbor. Reset to divine insight. Tell your neighbor let zoe life shine In Jesus' name. But thirdly, reset to divine reality.

Speaker 1:

Let me read these two verses John 11, 25 to 26. This is Jesus speaking when he went for this funeral that had just passed, and now he wants to handle Mary and Martha. And so if you go to verse 24, just let me read it and then pick it from 25. In 24, he's speaking to Martha and he says Martha answered I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day. The reason why she said this is this Jesus had received information that Lazarus was sick and then he didn't do anything about it for quite a number of days. Mary kept calling, martha kept texting. They sent WhatsApp. Jesus is not connecting. Hello, how would you like a friend like that?

Speaker 1:

So the day Jesus comes, lazarus is dead and buried Four days. Martha comes and says if you had been here, lazarus would not have died. And Jesus tells her because Jesus wanted to show her the reality, because many times what we call reality is an illusion. It's not a reality. Because Jesus also told the disciples let us go. Lazarus is asleep, let us go and wake him up Now. From heaven's reality, lazarus is asleep From human reality. Lazarus is dead. And the disciples says fine, let's go wake him up. Jesus says, by the way, lazarus died. So they go.

Speaker 1:

Martha is saying oh, if you had come earlier, this would not have happened. Then Jesus says your brother will rise again. And Martha says she had a very religious mind. She said oh yeah, that's true, one day he will come back to life. One day. That's when Jesus said in verse 25, martha, I am the resurrection and the zoe life. The one who believes in me will live even though they die. And whoever lives by believing in me will never die though they die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? And Martha is trying to get this clear in her system. What is this man talking about? Because heaven's reality is not human reality. You may be so broke, humanly speaking, but from heaven's perspective you are very rich. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor you may just see me like this, but I'm very rich. So which reality are you going to live in?

Speaker 1:

Later, mary comes and Mary asks the same thing. Says Jesus, you really let us down? You know this should not have happened. And Jesus to Mary says show me where he is buried. You see, because God handles us differently. Show me where he is buried, you see, because God handles us differently. The way God handled Martha is very different from the way God handled Mary. Martha needed information. Mary required a revelation, hello. So Jesus arrives at the place and then Jesus says this in verse 40. I pray God's reality will be a reality today. Then Jesus said did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God? Then Jesus said did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God? Then Jesus said did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God? Verse 41. So they took away the stone.

Speaker 1:

Then Jesus looked up and said I like this prayer because it's the reality of heaven. He said this, father, I thank you that you have heard me. Not, you will hear me. You have heard me. Not, you will hear me. You have heard me. And then he said I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here that they may believe that you sent me. Jesus prays amazing. He has a relationship with the reality of heaven. He already knows what God wants to do. He has a relationship with the reality of heaven. He already knows what God wants to do. I know you always hear me. You have heard me. If I was Jesus and that opportunity came and I knew I could raise somebody from the dead and I came to the tomb, this is how I would handle that situation.

Speaker 1:

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to see the wonders of God. At that time, even my accent changes. Instead of saying God, I say God. We're about to see the wonders of God. And as you remove the stone, I want you to know that something is about to happen, because this man of God and as you remove the stone, I want you to know that something is about to happen because this man of God is about to release power. But before that power comes, we are going to have a chorus. So shall we sing right now? And we sing for about one hour, psyching people getting ready for this miracle.

Speaker 1:

And then after that we start calling this guy out hey, lazarus, come out, lazarus, come out, hey, lazarus, come out. And since he's not coming out, we say now we take authority over the demonic spirits that are holding this man in there, so that spirit of death will rebuke you. And we do all kinds of gymnastics. Tell your neighbor, that is stupidity on this planet. We cannot be doing such things. And people who do those things are basically, they don't know the Father, they don't know God. They think by changing accent you connect to power. You don't need that. You don't need to pray for so many for a long time.

Speaker 1:

One time a guy met me at the parking and he said Pastor Ambrose, pray for me of this need, and basically what they were expecting for me to do was to pray a powerful prayer. But I did not pray a powerful prayer, I just put my hand on their chest and I said receive it in Jesus' name. And he left. He tells me afterwards when he left he felt very discouraged. Yani Pasambro did not pray. I needed him to call the heavens and to use a strong voice. But I knew that powerful prayers don't work. It is prayer to the powerful God that works. Powerful prayers don't work. It is prayer to the powerful God that works. And all that Jesus said is this Father, I know that you hear me. That is Zoe life. He knew the kingdom principles, he had a relationship with the Father and you know when your children come to you like Pastor Keniti has three girls when the children come to him and they need something, he's very open to give Because they are his children. But if any child from the street just shows up and asks him for something, he'll first of all ask him who is your father. I pray that when you come to God he will not ask you who is your father.

Speaker 1:

Some of us also come to God in times of crisis. You have not talked to God for a whole year and then there is an emergency. Then you dash into the presence of God and say God, god. In fact, god even gets shocked because he's seeing you for the first time. He says what do you want? I have this, I have this. And God is saying relax, but sometimes it's very hard. That is why, if you abide in me and I abide in you, then you shall ask whatever you will and it shall be done for you.

Speaker 1:

For Lazarus, it seemed that things are too late. Martha said it is too late. Then she said okay, now that it's too late, let's wait for the future. And what Jesus was saying is I am the resurrection. I am here in the now. I'm talking to somebody as we prepare to pray. Your miracle is coming your way today. You don't have to convince God. God does not live in the future, he doesn't live in the past, he lives in the now. The Bible says in his presence there is fullness of joy, fullness of joy. And so when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. There was a reason why he did that. I was asking the congregation in the first service that I said if Jesus had come and found Lazarus sick the day he was just called, he arrived that day and healed Lazarus. That would be a miracle. But now Lazarus died four days later and he raises Lazarus.

Speaker 1:

Which one of the two released great glory? Which of the two? Which one? The resurrection? You know, sometimes the Lord will allow you to enter into a situation until it's just dead. You're sick, but he allows you to go. Why? Why? Because he wants to perform a greater miracle that will bring greater glory to him. Greater glory, greater glory.

Speaker 1:

There was a wedding one time which I was performing, and the Friday that I was to perform the wedding, the lady called and the lady said she is not going to get married to this guy, and so the wedding got canceled that Friday. It was a bad situation. I don't know how the guy what went through the guy's head, but I believe God had planned a greater glory for this man. He wasn't seeing it, but there was greater glory. Valentine, you may not have received flowers in money form or whatever form, hallelujah but let me tell you this Don't be discouraged about this guy or that lady. There is a greater glory and God is going to do something for you that will blow your mind, blow your mind, mind, blow your mind.

Speaker 1:

I was also telling the congregation early this morning, especially now that people are talking about Honorable Raila Odinga having lost that position and it is and some of the people interviewed were saying, oh, we are so happy he lost. We are just glad he lost because we want him back to Kenya, because he is needed here Now. Of course, the AUC thing Was a continental thing and I know Raila's family may have prayed very seriously and called on the God of heaven. And then this happens. And then somebody says, maybe it was not God's heaven. And then this happens. And then somebody says, ah, maybe it was not God's will. Or some will say Maybe there are demons who came in and stopped it. But some of us may not realize God may not have wanted him To have a continental position. God is preparing A global position for him. It is a greater glory, it is a greater glory. God is preparing a global position for him. It is a greater glory, it is a greater glory.

Speaker 1:

And I want to say this week, as you walk into this week and some of the frustration you go through, some of the challenges you go through, let me tell you this surrender them to God. Surrender them to God because when God arrives he will say I am the resurrection and the life. He will take you to greater glory. Somebody better give God a big hand. So don't whine, don't say, why me? Begin to say, why not me? God has a good thing in front coming my way, because the Bible says in Jeremiah 29, 11 I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Speaker 1:

Joseph, beautiful court, betrayed by brothers, thrown into a pit, his dreams were dying. Out of the pit, sold to Potiphar In Potiphar's house, he's accused wrongly, ends up in prison. In prison he interprets dreams of two guys One dies, one is alive. Alive and he says please remember me two years. The guy forgot him. Kumbe, in god's program of events, he was planning a greater glory.

Speaker 1:

Would you have wanted to to stop at the pit? Would you have wanted to stop at potiphar's place? Would you have wanted to stop at the prison? God is saying you're coming to Pharaoh's house and you're going to be the prime minister. You're going to be in charge of the whole country. My friend, hold on, hold on. Zoe life gives you perseverance. Keep going. Don't give up on this dream. Zoe life keeps you on course Because God will bring you to your destination. God will bring you to your destination. God will bring you to your destination. Come on, somebody, god will bring you to your destination.

Speaker 1:

Things may be bad now. Things may be rough now. You may be even reaching a time where you have sold your car. Now you have to beg for bus fare from people. Other times you have to walk.

Speaker 1:

But let me tell you this there is a greater glory when God is concerned with your life. There is a greater glory. Just trust him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not rely on your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge, do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him. He will direct your paths. Look at your neighbor. Tell your neighbor greater glory. Tell that same neighbor who doesn't seem to believe you greater glory. If he doesn't believe you, turn to your other neighbor and tell that neighbor greater glory. Hallelujah, come on, stand on your feet and let's give God another big hand and just appreciate him. Tell your neighbor reset, amen. That's what we are walking with into this week.

Speaker 1:

Reset, believe God. This Zoe life, this eternal life, must flow like rivers, must shine like the light of God, must manifest itself in the now, and God wants to do that just for you. I want to assure you that you're coming back with a testimony. I am saying that you're coming back with a testimony, amen. So let's pray, father, as we are praying, there may have been a man or a woman who came so defeated, so discouraged, but this afternoon a reset has happened, something has shifted, and I believe that, lord, as your beloved ones arise to leave those in the sanctuary, those in the pavilion, those watching us online, that, god, as you reset us, you don't reset us down, you reset us upward Because, god, you're connecting us to your abundance, you're connecting us to your insight. You're connecting us to your insight, you're connecting us to your reality and sometimes, god, what we see as reality is just an illusion.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says let the weak say I'm strong. And so today we want to decree and declare that we are sons and daughters of God. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus. We have received a glorious inheritance in Christ and we will allow this life Zoe to flow and manifest itself in our daily dealings and some of those challenges we face during the week. We call forth this Zoe life to connect with our challenges and to bring victory.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. The Bible says he who did not hold on to his son but gave him up for us all, will he not, with him, give us all things. Lord, you're a giver, not a taker. You're a blesser, not a cusser. You're a lifter, not one who downtrods us.

Speaker 1:

And so, father, today we stand with hearts of gratitude that you brought us into the year in this month of February, and we are grateful that today we are alive to hear the word of God, and the rest of this month we are going to hear the word of God, and the rest of this month we are going to see victory on top of victory, favor on top of favor, mercy on top of mercy, and we just want to say thank you. Help us to get our minds renewed every day so that we can think, as sons and daughters, of the living God. So, father, thank you for enabling me to even share this word, for this word to have found a heart, a mind, a person, a woman who is walking out of this sanctuary with their heads held high Because God has unveiled himself to them. So thank you for hearing my prayer and our prayer. Why don't you also take a moment yourself, just make a short prayer to God and just appreciate him and thank him for the word and whichever part you caught, say that is my portion and I'm going to walk in that portion. Father, we bless you. Thank you for hearing our prayer. All glory goes back to you, father.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't matter what challenges we have walked through last week. We are still walking into this week. Things may not change outwardly, but inside us something has changed. Thank you for hearing our prayer. All glory goes back to you. If you believe that, you better say I receive it, I take it, it is my portion and there's nothing the devil can do about it. Now, give God a big, big hand, appreciate him. Come on, somebody, give God a big, big hand, appreciate him. Come on, somebody Give God a big hand. Amen, amen. May your miracle come today. Receive it in the now. In Jesus' name, give your neighbor a high five and tell them thank you for coming today. Amen, pastor Keniti, come up. You're going to release us with a benediction and you can even use this time to find out if people did your homework. But release us, it's a blessing to have you. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2:

I appreciate our senior pastor one more time. Come on somebody. Let us celebrate, yes, let us celebrate the word of God, hallelujah. I can't hear some celebration in the house of the Lord. Amen, amen, amen, amen. Indeed, we thank God for His Word. And, senior Pastor, let me confirm that, yes, there are some members who actually bought grapes. Let me confirm that, yes, there are some members who actually bought grapes and they bought lemons, and some send me the photos. So I have pictorial evidence.

Speaker 2:

But this week we are walking into abundance, we are walking into insight, we are walking into heavenly reality and we are marching in victory in Jesus' name. Amen, hallelujah, hallelujah, lift up your hands. Even as I release a blessing, father now, upon your people, because we have received your word, we are walking out in the power of that word and so, because of this word, our Monday is blessed, our Tuesday is blessed, our Wednesday is blessed, our Thursday is blessed, friday is full of blessings, saturday is full of blessings and we are coming back with our testimony On Sunday. In Jesus' mighty name, you are making a way where there is no way. You are lifting us to another level. Oh God, there are things, answers that we are receiving this afternoon. In Jesus' mighty name, you are going to give us breakthroughs upon breakthroughs.

Speaker 2:

In the mighty name of Jesus, somebody who is walking into this week with anxiety. We declare peace now upon them in Jesus' name. And we say peace, be upon you in the mighty name of Jesus, because he, who is the life and the resurrection, has already gone ahead of you. And so, lord, your people are going to walk into victory throughout this week. In the mighty name of Jesus, you will help us even to share this light. In Jesus' name, that zoe life will be flowing. That zoe life will be shining. That zoe life will be flowing. That zoe life will be shining. That zoe life will be manifested all over the places where you have planted us. Because we believe this In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and God's people say Amen, amen, amen, amen. And now, may the grace of our Lord, jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forevermore. Amen, god bless you, and God be with you in Jesus' name.
