Speaker 1:

Shalom and good morning. My name is Kwasandu Mashina, from the House Group Ministry and I bring the meditation word this very morning and I want us to reflect in the season that we are into, the season of the uncommon spirit-led Zoe life. I want to bring the meditation word from the book of John and the title of my message this very morning the Blessing of a Shepherd as the door to the zoe life. The Bible says John, chapter 10, verse 9 to 11, I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and he will go in and out and find pasture. Verse 10, which is a very common verse to all of us. It's actually some of you have memorized this the thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. Verse 11, where we shall pose I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. When I was reflecting and meditating on this word, three things came to mind that through the shepherd, and the Bible talks about the blessing of a shepherd In Jeremiah, chapter 3, verse 15 talks about and I will give you pastors as shepherds, yeah, to teach you about knowledge and understanding Jesus. In Mark, chapter 6, verse 34, he talked about and he saw a crowd, a multitude of crowd, and they looked helpless. They looked like sheep without a shepherd. So the blessing of the shepherd. And there and there he started teaching to the helpless cloud that he saw. And therefore, this very morning and this very day, wherever you are following this message from, I want to we meditate and see the value of a shepherd. I have been a shepherd in reality as I was growing up, and I can see the docile of sheep and how helpless sometimes they look like, unless you take them to where there is pasture and he talks about. He's a good shepherd in Psalms 23.

Speaker 1:

Three things I want us to highlight on this message that a blessing of a shepherd brings a spiritual abundance of life. Actually, it brings intimacy with God For us to enjoy this daily life. Do you have a an intimacy? Do you pray, do you meditate, do you memorize scriptures? A spiritual intimacy, do you have a spiritual intimacy with the shepherd, the chief shepherd, our Savior Jesus Christ? Second, do we live a life that is purposeful, a purposeful living life, a life that is fruitful, a life that brings fruitation and that, a victorious life, overcoming all the challenges that brings fruitation. And thirdly, a victorious life Overcoming all the challenges that we may face. Those three things, and the first one, a spiritual life of abundance, having intimacy with our Savior, jesus Christ.

Speaker 1:

The Bible talks about and says the fullness of life begins with a deep personal relationship with God. That is, through Jesus Christ, our relationship. Do you have a personal relationship with your Savior? Do you pray? Do you read the Word of God? A personal relationship? In John 17, verse 3, he talks about Now, this eternal life that they may know, you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent, whom you have sent John, chapter 17, verse 3. Do you have this eternal life that has been promised for us? Build this life that we are living today, as we pray, as we study the word of God, as you listen and as you do all that we do, do you foresee there's another life that has been promised through Jesus Christ? I pray that very, this very morning, we shall be able to experience this spiritual abundance, having an intimacy with God on a day-to-day life, not only today, not only this month that we're talking about this topic, but a very day-to-day. May it become your lifestyle, whereby you in tune yourself, you immerse yourself into the Word of God and get in the revelation, like Joshua who said for me and my house, we shall do what we shall worship the Lord. May it be so. May the same spirit be upon us.

Speaker 1:

The second one that I talk about is living a purposeful living life, a life full of fruitful life, not just living for the sake of living.

Speaker 1:

Do you desire to live a fruitful life? Is your life marked for purposefulness? When you woke up today, what are you looking forward to achieve when the year started in the year 2025,? What are you aspiring? Are you aspiring results? Are you aspiring to be fruitful? Are you purpose? What made you wake up today? Are you a teacher? Are you aspiring to be fruitful? Are you purposeful? What made you wake up today? Are you a teacher? Are you an engineer? Are you a preacher, like myself? Do you get moved when you see life, when you see others who are lost, and say for me, now I'll pray for that family, for me, because I'm married, I'll pray for young couples that are coming up and they will live to fullness and their marriage will last. What moves you? Do you live a purposeful life. My prayer is that we shall live a purposeful living life. Not only a purposeful living life, but a fruitful life. The Bible talks in John, chapter 15 you did not choose me, but I chose you and I appointed you so that you might go out and bear fruit, and fruit that lasts. Are you multiplying yourself? Are you duplicating yourself? For the kingdom, my prayer and my desire that may we live a purposeful life.

Speaker 1:

The third thing is about a life that is a victorious life, life of abundance. Though we may face challenges, some of this time though we may become, we will grow weary. The Bible talks about the Lord will renew our energy. So when those circumstances and moments come in this season, when you are low, maybe your body is in sickness, maybe you are not meeting your obligations, how do you live a victorious and abundant life?

Speaker 1:

Having a mindset of abundance. Yesterday, on Sunday, leva Redabris was teaching about having that mindset Whereby, when you're in a hotel here, you can say, yes, I can afford this. Do you have that? Do you have that mindset of abundance? My desire is that may we have in just chapter 16, that Jesus is teaching and he said in this world you have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world. May we know that, even though we live in this life yes, we may experience those struggles and challenges on different seasons, but may we know that give up. May we be encouraged that Jesus conquered and therefore, this very day, this very week, as we continue meditating on the aspect of the Zui life, may we live a life of abundance.

Speaker 1:

May we live a life that is victorious. May we live a life that has a spiritual intimacy, whereby your intention on how you pray and when you pray, on how you do your quiet time, on how you read your word of God. May you live the life that is very purposeful, not life that just for the sake of the, no. May you live a life that I'm looking forward to achieve A, b, C and D A purposeful life. And may you live a mark and a legacy, just like a marathon.

Speaker 1:

May we run the race set for us. That's being a purpose, knowing that there's a race set for me. Is it 42 kilometers? Is it half marathon to 21 kilometers, or is it 5 kilometers? So that you learn, with perspective and with perseverance, to the mark that is marked for you. Therefore, this morning, I pray that we shall be able to do so and therefore, the eternal life that is assured for us will be for us to inherit, all for his glory. Therefore, I bless you and I pray that may the Lord, our God Almighty, through his spirit, may he help you and myself to live a very purposeful life, to live a life that is spiritual, have spiritual intimacy with him and a very victorious life, all for his glory. So, thank you, thank you so much. God bless you and Shalom.
