Parklands Baptist Church's Podcast
2025-04-20_Sunday 2nd Service: The Wisdom of The Risen Christ. By Pastor Edith Kirimi
The empty tomb changes everything. When Christ rose from the dead, He didn't just conquer death – He unlocked a treasury of wisdom that can transform how we navigate every aspect of life today.
What would change if you truly believed you had complete victory over darkness? What if you could stand before God without a trace of guilt or condemnation? And what if you could access a joy so deep that circumstances couldn't touch it?
Pastor Edith unpacks three profound wisdom principles from the resurrection that are meant to be lived, not just believed. First, the wisdom of victory that frees us from the bondage of sin and gives us authority over every challenge. Second, the wisdom of righteousness that changes our fundamental identity and gives us confidence before God. And third, the wisdom of joy that flows from contentment rather than circumstances.
Through powerful insights from Romans 10, 2 Corinthians 5, and Acts 2, we discover that resurrection isn't just history – it's our inheritance. When we grasp these truths, we stop trying to earn what's already been given to us. We can approach God not as fearful servants but as beloved children who have access to everything in His kingdom.
The resurrection means we no longer have to live with our heads bowed low. We can walk tall, hands raised high, confident in who we are as children of the risen King. Whether you're hearing this message for the first time or need to be reminded of these transformative truths, this Easter message will help you access the full power of Christ's resurrection in your daily life.
Ready to experience resurrection power? Listen now and discover how to live from victory, not for it.

and then I'll give you an announcement. Father, we thank you very much for your goodness and mercy. Thank you for loving us so much. We are so excited that Christ has risen and indeed he has risen and we are joyful and we are rejoicing, my father, because the tomb is empty and we can celebrate, lord Almighty, the work of the cross, of what you have done, and we are so grateful, lord. And now, lord, even as we just listen to your word, my Father, I pray that you may use me, because I've got nothing of my own, but the Spirit of God, who will speak through me, will just speak to me, lord, and to the rest of my colleagues, because we are in your house so that you can minister to me, lord, and to the rest of my colleagues, because we are in your house so that you can minister to us, our God. We love you, we bless you and we exalt you. It's in Jesus' name we pray, amen. So we are reading from Luke. We are reading from Luke, chapter 24. This is what the word of the Lord says.
Speaker 1:On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their flight, the women bowed down and their faces to the ground, but the men said to them why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here. He has risen. Remember how he told you while he was still with you in Galilee the Son of man must be delivered over to the hands of the sinners, crucified on the third day, be raised. Then they remembered his words. When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the eleven and to all the others. Aha, verse 9. When they came back from the tomb yes, we are repeating they told all these things to the eleven and to all others.
Speaker 1:Praise the Lord, you can now have your seat. That is the word of the Lord. So I'm sweating, but you are giving me encouragement. Praise the Lord, yes, I give. Thank you for the encouragement. Praise the Lord. Hey, at least Now I want to introduce my family to you.
Speaker 1:I've never introduced them. My husband is sitting somewhere he is there? And my boys? Where are the boys? Where are the boys? Where are the young men? Where are you seated, you boys? How can you let me down?
Speaker 1:Mko wapi, bijana, mko wapi, oh, that is DJ YMS. Yay, good boy. Yes, where is the other one? Danny, danny, you go up, surely? How can you do like that? Okay, so I thank God.
Speaker 1:Hey, that Mr Keremie. He's a wonderful man and I thank God for giving him to me. He's really been my yeah, yeah, he's the priest of my house and I thank God that I here has always been my biggest supporter, even in the ministry. He is not threatened. Yes, glory to God. I thank God for you and I'm blessed a lot when he is not here. He is in Meru, because we do a lot of ministry, and I thank God, but we bless the Lord that we are serving our king of kings.
Speaker 1:And also, um, okay, there is a an announcement I also want to make for the business meeting that is coming up. Oh, yeah, here it is. The one that was projected was not the correct one, sorry for that, so we want to give the correct one. The business meeting is this coming Saturday, same as this coming Saturday, which is 26 of April and it will be at 9 in the main sanctuary and it will be here and it is on a Saturday, not a Sunday, and the link will be shared with the registered members. If you have never registered, you are not a registered member, you are not able to come to the meeting, so you better make sure that you are a registered member of Paki. So the agenda is devotion, confirmation of previous minutes, ministry reports, financial reports, ratification of new members and any other business. And in case someone has any other business, as Pastor Felisa said, you can also write to. You can send it to wawukofaith at gmailcom or secretary at parklandsbaptistorg on or before 21st April 2025. If you don't know the letter, your secret will not be considered, so you better send earlier.
Speaker 1:Now we are transitioning to the word of God. Thank you, media. And the word of God that we are talking about today is the word of God. Thank you, media. And the word of God that we are talking about today is the word of resurrection. Praise the Lord. Are you happy that Christ resurrected today? Are you glad? So when I say Christ has risen, say he has risen. Indeed, christ has risen, with the conviction that surely he has risen with the conviction that surely I was a cuckoo, and you are saying it with a lot of coldness. Christ has risen. He has risen, indeed, glory to God. I'm so glad that Christ has risen. And the reason Christ has risen, I mean the reason why Christ rose, it is so that we can be a people that have a direction.
Speaker 1:And before I give my sermon for today, I want to reiterate the sentiments of our senior pastor last Sunday, zimeni Jenga. They have really been building my heart, my spirit, and I've been thinking. Let me keep reminding myself and reminding my congregant of what the sentiments were. He talked about ignorance is the absence of truth. I want us to remind ourselves again and Pastor Ambrose, what I was thinking. It is even in the law of truth. I want us to remind ourselves again, and Pastor Ambrose, what I was thinking, it is even in the law of the land. If you are ignorant, even if you are caught with a wrong somewhere and you are trying to you know, I didn't know Imagine you cannot be excused. So you can imagine what ignorance does.
Speaker 1:Foolishness, we were told it is abandonment of truth. That means I was getting reminded of the Galatians. You remember when Paul told them you foolish Galatians, because they had started in the spirit and now they were going back to the flesh. Imagine if you abandon that which you know is the truth and you are going back. That is God, what it is, god foolishness.
Speaker 1:And then we were told, knowledge is accumulation of truth. So, as we get the knowledge, either from the word of God, either from a man of wisdom, either from whoever gives us the word, or something that jingles us, something that builds us and builds our spirit, it means we are now collecting the facts and we are getting deep insights about that knowledge, and then understanding. It is assimilation of truth, which means now you are deeply understanding Najwa, you can understand, and you can understand Deeply, understanding, internalizing, integrating. Now getting that knowledge, now that which you get, the understanding, and you are completely convinced in you, this is what the truth is. And, finally, wisdom is applying the truth and that means it is bringing transformation in your life.
Speaker 1:So, even as we sit at the feet of Jesus, as we sit at the feet of the risen Christ, I want us to think through, because my message is about this Christ who is risen and the wisdom he has brought to us, the wisdom of the risen Christ. When Christ has risen, he has brought to us this wisdom. And this wisdom you have heard, it is what it is living that truth that you have known and getting transformed. So, even as we get the message, whatever the Lord is speaking to us today, I want you to consider it as a truth that will transform your life, so you are not going to remain the same. I'm also because I do not, you know, every time the Spirit of God speaks to us, I also do not know what the Spirit of God has for me, because I'm also yielded to the Spirit of God so that he can also minister to me. And, lord, I'm praying that I may also get that wisdom that will transform me even as I get the Word of God. Are we together? Are we together? Praise the Lord.
Speaker 1:So the wisdom of victory is one of the wisdom that the risen Christ has brought to us. And when I was thinking about the victory, I'm thinking about salvation we keep thinking about during this time. It is when we think a lot about John 3.16. Don't reflect it media. Lot about John 3.16. Don't reflect it, media. What does John 3.16 say? Amen, clap for yourself. You did a good job. Oh, thank you so much, that is, and I do not know as you are talking about for gone, so loved the one that he gave his only begotten son. You know, are you thinking about those words, are you reflecting on them and are you taking them to work for you so that it doesn't become a mere talk? Praise the Lord, because what the Bible says is that when we know that salvation has been given to us because you can imagine, I'm not even reflecting on the message that we have read I just wanted to remind you, to give you the scenario of how, you know, the women went to the tomb and they found it was empty, and they found that the, you know, two men were standing there, who are the angels, and they said why are you standing here?
Speaker 1:You don't know that he is risen? And, of course, the women running around just to be, you know, to tell others. And of course, the women running around just to be, you know, to tell others. And, of course, the disciples and everybody. I can imagine the activities that were happening there as they were talking about the risen Christ and even, as we think today, beloved of the Lord, we are thinking about that victory that went on on the cross, you know, I mean from the cross to the tomb and now the empty tomb we can be able to know that we have victory, and victory is being able to.
Speaker 1:I mean victory is being able to overcome the work of darkness. Being able to overcome the work of darkness, it is being able to overcome the challenging moments of our lives, it is being able to know you are resurrecting from sin, you are resurrecting from death, you are resurrecting from the grave. And Pastor Felisa, as she was praying here, she prayed that the Lord would resurrect the many challenges in our lives, whatever someone would be going through. That is what it means to have victory, because when Christ rose and you know these are not, you know, sometimes we look like the word of God. It's like it is a history, it is a we forget. This is the reality and, by the way, over 2,000 years ago. And the life continues and still, until Jesus comes and we go to heaven, we shall continue playing. You know the coming of the Lord, until he comes.
Speaker 1:And so I don't want us to be defeated, I don't want us to walk like we cannot be able to access the forgiveness when it has already been granted, but we can easily go and let us read Romans, chapter 8, verse 10, chapter 10,. Romans, chapter 8, verse 10, chapter 10. Romans, chapter 10, verse 8 to 11. Kindly media. But what does it say?
Speaker 1:The word is near you, it is in your mouth and it is in your heart. That is the message concerning faith that we proclaim. If you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, for it is with your heart that God raised him from the dead. You will be saved, for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As scripture says, anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame. Praise the Lord, did you hear? It is just believing in your heart and confessing it with your mouth, and then you become a born again Christian and you are able to walk a walk of victory.
Speaker 1:Because without Christ in your heart, you could be struggling in so many things. Because you have not known that Christ is supposed to make it, you can remain in the bondage of sin. You know, sometimes we read about the children of Israel. Psalm 95, 8, 9 reminds us that we can be like the children of Israel, who are so stiff-necked, you know, and they handed their hearts. Even when they were there. They could see the miracles that Christ did, but still they could continue handing their hearts. So, beloved of the Lord, this is the day of salvation. Don't harden your heart, don't be stiff-necked. You have seen what the Lord has done for you. You have seen.
Speaker 1:Imagine him just carrying all our sins and putting it on his son. You know, every one of us was supposed actually to die and go to hell, but because of that was the Adamic sin, because Adam sinned and so all water, we are all born from Adam, and so everybody has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And that is how we all become couplets of sin. Or we become couplets of sin or we become couplets of death, you know. But because Jesus God loved us so much, you know, and he allowed Jesus to come and to get us to carry all our sins, imagine he didn't have any sin, but he took all our sins, your sins and mine, and he went to the cross.
Speaker 1:What manner of love is that, even if there was a parent here, and you are told to go on the cross for your child, much as you really love your child. Who would be willing to go? Can you go, hey, miss Yezi, why am I saying I can't? I'm telling my son I can't dare. So what I'm saying is nobody, I believe, can dare, because everybody, I mean, we want to enjoy this life and so for this reason, jesus imagined and I can imagine it was very sorrowful even for the father when he allowed him to go.
Speaker 1:But, thank God, that is what has given us victory. The obedience of Christ on the cross is what has given us victory today and we can be able to rejoice in the resurrected Christ. And so when we also receive this Christ in us, it is a time of sanctification. We cannot just get saved and remain there. We have to be perfected day by day. It is not by our works, you know. Sometimes we get, we can. Sometimes we tend to think the work that we do oh, probably I visit the sick. Oh, probably I visit those in prison. Oh, probably I'm a giver. Oh, I'm a kingdom financier, oh, I'm a nasha. You know we can really tell ourselves the good works that we do. But that is not what gives us salvation, it is just given to us freely, and so this is what we are supposed to take.
Speaker 1:So I imagine, if you are not born again, I would imagine this gift, today especially, it would be the very best I can give to myself, if I'm not born again, knowing Christ has risen, so that I can be able now to continue being sanctified. And you know, now, even when you come to serving the Lord, it is not difficult, it doesn't feel like it's a burden, it just flows from you because, because you are being perfected now, you can know I can serve the Lord with a lot of understanding, so beloved of the Lord. I want to remind you that this is an opportune time for you. As we come to the end, I want us, as I have spoken this message, I want you to keep reflecting, and reflecting of the work of the cross. So, even as we come to the end, if at a certain time you do want to think about giving your life to Christ, it would be the best gift you can give to yourself. And then, as we think of having salvation, it is not enough. What I want to know, each one of us to know, is that once we get the salvation and we have gotten that wisdom, that victory is assured.
Speaker 1:Then there is wisdom of righteousness. Say wisdom of righteousness, say wisdom of righteousness. Yes, the wisdom of righteousness, yes, the wisdom of righteousness, it is where you stand before. You have an ability to stand before God without feeling condemned, without feeling any guilt, without feeling that I have sinned. You know, because already your sins have been forgiven.
Speaker 1:You know, sometimes, our senior pastor, I know when he talked, he used to talk about righteousness a lot and he used to say you don't turn it. And I was still a believer. I used to wonder how can you say righteousness can just come like that? It can't. But imagine, can you imagine righteousness can just come like that? It can't. But imagine, can you imagine our God is so good? That's righteousness. You can't accept it like that and there's nothing you can do.
Speaker 1:Righteousness, pap, praise God. You become the righteousness of God. Another time I've gossiped Another time and we are not saying those things should be entertained. Praise the Lord. Those things cannot be entertained, because once I become the righteousness of God, my God becomes my best friend. And can you imagine, pastor Felicia, if you are my best friend, I wouldn't be wanting to do bad things to you. I will always seek to do that which pleases you. You know, because I love you. I wouldn't even want to hear you moan about anything that I've said bad or anything I've done to you. That is what it means.
Speaker 1:When we become the righteousness of God automatically, you know, some people normally think now hey, I'm addicted to pombe, how can I be a righteousness of God? But do you know, when you just give your life to Christ, imagine the Lord is not even saying you leave that pombe. The Lord will continue working with you, making you righteous, because he has already meant you as righteousness. He will work on you. He will work on you and until you become perfected, praise the Lord. If you are in drugs, sometimes we expect someone and sometimes that is why sometimes people refuse to get saved because they say I know the way, I'm so used to drugs. And when you go to the hospital for rehabilitation you are told you will be taken through a process and pole, pole. But here in the church probably other believers. You know they are condemning you. They are condemning you but yet you are righteousness of God.
Speaker 1:Praise the Lord as you continue being perfected in what you have been doing, things that are not right because you are the righteousness of God. You continue being perfected slowly by slowly, but that doesn't remove you from being the righteousness of God. Praise the Lord. And so, when you are the righteousness of God, you have just to trust God that, because he has said this, you are the righteous of God. You have just to trust God that, because he has said he is your righteousness, trust all the things that he has in his kingdom that you all belong to. You praise God. That is the importance of becoming the righteousness of God. Because once you know I'm the righteousness of God, imagine, because once you know I'm the righteousness of God, imagine I go to my father and I'm not pleading for my father to heal me, I'm already healed Praise the Lord. And once we get that concept that I'm already healed because what is in my father belongs to me, healing is in my father because I me. Healing is in my Father because I'm the child of the covenant, of the blood of Jesus, because I've accepted him. So I'm the righteousness of God.
Speaker 1:So sickness must not be mentioned in my life. Sometimes you could be having that sickness and once you tell Jesus me I'm healed because I'm the righteousness of God, it may not go right away, you could still be struggling with the symptoms, but deep within your heart, no, healing is your portion and walk, feeling healed, praise God and as you continue proclaiming it with your mouth. You know, sometimes when we get, get like we say I'm healed, and then you don't see it right, the manifestation. Right away, we go again and I ask you how are you? Hey, I'm feeling sick. You take my sicknesses and you know what? How will the perfection of healing be perfected in your life if you are not accepting that the healing has happened? The same thing.
Speaker 1:So there are so many things that we can access. When we have become the righteousness of God, we can no longer live in sin. So what we are saying is that if my father has become my righteousness, how can I dare go sinning? I cannot. I cannot live in fear, I cannot live in sickness, in poverty. You know I cannot be walking saying, oh the way, I'm so poor. You know we are bringing the things that do not show that we are the righteousness of God, so beloved of the Lord. When you become, once you become and I want to believe this this afternoon people are going to give their lives to Christ, and I know sometimes you know that you are not going to be saved. You will not be saved even if you are there. Praise the Lord. I want you to go home today feeling I am the righteousness of God, because when we become the righteousness of God we will be able to enjoy. And then what helps us to enjoy this life of righteousness? Let's see what it adds.
Speaker 1:It is the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1:Praise the Lord. It is the Holy Spirit, praise the Lord. We are in the year where we are being learned by the Spirit, in the year of the impartation of the Spirit learned. What is the theme of the year? Again, the year of the Lord's impartation of Spirit learned. Oh, oh my, I'm confusing you. Can you say again hear of them, come on, spirit land impartation, yes, praise the lord we are holding there. So you have to be learned by the spirit of God. Let's read Praise the Lord we are holding there. So you have to be learned by the Spirit of God.
Speaker 1:Let's read Acts, chapter 3. And the Acts that reminds us that we ought to. It is Acts chapter. What Chapter? It is usually Acts chapter 4. Are we there, media? Yes, it's Acts, chapter 4, but I think it is verse 8. I don't seem to see it. I told you praise the Lord, not Hebrews. There is an Acts. Well, it's Acts, chapter 2.
Speaker 1:Chapter 2, where they were filled with the Holy Spirit, chapter 2. It's okay when they don't, yes, chapter 2. Oh, it's okay when the day of yes, chapter 2. When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly, a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from the heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be the tanks of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them, and all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them.
Speaker 1:Praise the Lord In other tongues, as the spirit enabled them. Praise the Lord, yes, so you know, we cannot be able To be on our own. You know, when we receive this, jesus, we need the empowerment Of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit cannot come in our lives If you have not Asked him to come into our lives. We must allow him and him come into our hearts so that you can be able to lead me, so that even the life that we are talking about, of sanctification, as the Lord works on our minds, as the Lord works in our spirits, as the Lord works in all that we do, we can know that it is only by the spirit of God.
Speaker 1:You know, sometimes we limit ourselves to the. What is that? Sunday we normally do no. Saturday, the beginning of the year, anointing service. Thank you very much. Yes, the anointing service. We sometimes limit the spirit of God to be in the anointing service. We sometimes limit the spirit of God to be in the anointing service. No, the Spirit of God must be in us all the time when we are having the strength that we are at an excuse, kia parka, sweat in the Holy Spirit and an idea praise the Lord so that I can be able to speak and I'm not falling down here because I'm shaking. That is the Holy Spirit of God helping me. So, beloved of the Lord, we have to accept the Spirit of God so that he can be able to give us strength to renew our minds, so that I can be thinking things when I'm telling you, are you keeping fit? It is only the Spirit of God who can help you to keep fit. When you remember, this is the temple of the Holy Spirit, you are able to do the right things so that the Spirit of God is perfected in you. Praise the Lord.
Speaker 1:And finally, I want to talk about the wisdom of joy. Praise the Lord, hey, joy, praise the Lord, hey, the joy of the Lord, ismael, hallelujah. I love this wisdom of joy Because sometimes we and you know, joy is a fruit of the spirit. You know that there are so many spirits. I mean not so many spirits, there are so many spirits. I mean not so many spirits, there are so many fruits. I see you are attentive. Hey, praise the Lord. Yes, there is only one spirit, but he has given us a fruit of the Holy Spirit and we know all that in Galatians 5, verse 22. But I love dwelling in the spirit of joy because this joy, it must be cultivated in us, because sometimes we live a life that is so dull and we know, sometimes we tend to think it is because of the many needs that I have that are making me go with my hand held low.
Speaker 1:No, the Bible says that Paul was reminding the Corinthians. I want to remember whom he was reminding, but godliness, it is actually he was reminding Timothy. But godliness, with contentment is great gain. Once you learn that. Let us read that 1 Timothy 6.6, kindly media. 1 Timothy 6.6. But godliness with contentment is great gain. So what we are saying is that once you learn to be contented, you know, some people think contentment is because you have a lot of money. Others think contentment is because you have a nice house. Others think contentment is because you have a nice car. Others think contentment is because my business is driving. You know, we have all sorts of thoughts of what it means to be contented.
Speaker 1:But remember, paul was going through a difficult season After his calling. He went through rough time as an apostle, but he could be able to say I'm contented and that is why he served in his time with a lot of joy. And so when we think of the resurrected Christ, when we think of the risen Christ, we must be able to walk with the joy I'm imagining. When the women went to the tomb and they came out and they were so they went. Of course they were scared, but when they were told the crisis is recent, I'm sure they were so excited and they went joyfully. The men went there, the disciples and everybody. I can imagine everybody was running around very happy because Christ is risen.
Speaker 1:So, my brethren this afternoon, I want you to think about the ones of being joyful at all times. Do not have your joy dictated by anything. If you don't have, just rejoice in the Lord. If you have, rejoice in the Lord and remember we have said, everything we have a right to access. So if you are not accessing your joy, because I'm the righteousness of God, praise the Lord. So also, there are so many things we can access, including love. Where we don't feel like loving some people, you can access your love because it is granted already, because the Lord has done it for us. Praise the Lord. And so, beloved of the Lord.
Speaker 1:I want to finish my message as I want to invite each one of us. I do not know where we are challenged in our lives, whether it is the John 3, 16, in the wisdom of having this victory of salvation, because that is the best gift again I said that is the best gift again. Or if it is in the righteousness, the wisdom gift again. Or if it is in the righteousness, the wisdom of righteousness. I do not know whether you always feel so condemned because you feel there is something that you have done or you don't deserve it. You are just there. You cannot access this righteousness of God. I want to tell you today you are able to access.
Speaker 1:And finally, the wisdom of joy. I want us to think through about this joy, which is the joy that comes from knowing that I am the you know, I am the child of the risen king, I am the righteousness of God and, as you, just when we internalize this message of wisdom and we get it to transform us, to work in our lives, then we are able to walk with our hands held high, knowing that we are the righteousness of God, knowing that we have victory over the death, and we are also knowing that we have the joy that can keep us moving all the days of our lives. And so, even as we close our eyes, with our eyes closed I do not know whether there is someone that is asking today that they want to give themselves to gift. You can only gift yourself the gift of salvation.
Speaker 1:I do not know whether you are sitting there and you have never given your life to Christ. You would want to give your life to Christ today, would you? Just by a show of hand? By a show of hand, would you want to give your life to Christ today? Would you want to give your life to Christ. Today it is just accepting. Remember we said you just invite Jesus in your heart and you allow him to come to your heart and you confess him as Lord and Savior, and that makes you to be able to access all the rights that are there for us in Christ Jesus, all that which is in our Father. You become, you know, a child of the Father and you can access everything and anything because it is rightfully yours. So would you be there wanting to say that you want to give your life to Christ? So, as in oh, there is an aunt, there is a son, there is another one. Kindly stand up so that we can pray. By the way, when Jesus comes to make your life good, don't even fear. Don't fear. It is important that you give your life to Christ.
Speaker 1:Anybody else, I normally like us to have an understanding. Anybody else, I normally like us to have an understanding Anybody else, anybody else. I don't want to close you. I know some could be having a kawoga, don't be afraid.
Speaker 1:Okay, anybody down here, anybody wanting to give their lives to Christ. Oh, there is another hand there. Thank you very much. You can stand up. You can stand up, thank you, and I see it is men that are wanting to, and I have a soft landing for men. You saw, I have boys. So I thank God for men that are giving their lives to Christ. I thank God for you, men, giving their lives to Christ. I thank God for you, men, and I give glory to you. Some more men and we can have women supporters, ish, anybody, anybody. Ask them if they are saved. Ask them if they are saved. We are not moving. We are not moving. Anyway, on a light note, but what I'm saying is, let us give our lives to the Lord Because he is worthy to be given our lives. So, for those who have, you can come forward around here and we will have someone minister to you. Those who are giving their lives to Christ, Okay, thank you. Someone else here is standing with that young man there. Okay, those others, thank you. Clap for the young man. Thank you so much. Or is there anyone who is hearing their soul? Come here, clap for the young man, thank you so much. There's another one who's coming here. Come here, come, come, come. I know some.
Speaker 1:It's just that feeling of let us pray as we also commit, and you can say this prayer because I know some could be saying hey, pastor Edith, how do you ask me to come in front there? Let us pray with you and probably we can assess them. Let us say this word of confession Lord Jesus, I come before you with thanksgiving in my heart. Thank you that you have called my name today. I want to accept you as Lord and my Savior. I pray that you may forgive me all my sins and that you may write my name in the book of life, that I may be a new creation, because the old has gone and the new has come. I welcome you into my heart and spirit of the living God. I welcome you in my heart so that you help me to walk this journey of faith. I pray this in Jesus' name Amen, amen, amen. Can you clap for those who have given their lives to the Lord? Thank you so much. And in case you still want to give your life to the Lord, I pray that you can be able to see any one of us who see your God, because it is important to give your life to Christ.
Speaker 1:And now I want to do a benediction before we leave, and I want to. The benediction or the charge I'm giving ourselves today is to tell ourselves that as we go forth in this week, we are going out with a lot of joy. And so let us stand up so that I can give you that charge Of going out rejoicing Because Christ is risen. Christ is risen, christ is risen, christ is risen. He is risen indeed, and we can rejoice in him. So just know Christ is risen and you go out and enjoy Christ is risen. Joy on Monday, joy on Tuesday, joy on Wednesday, joy on Thursday, joy on Friday, joy on Saturday and joy on Sunday. You come rejoicing in the risen Christ, hallelujah. We give you all the praise, lord, and now may the grace Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us, now and forevermore. Amen, Amen, god bless you. Go in peace to love and to serve the Lord in the marketplace. Amen, god bless you.
