Start from victory, not from struggle. That’s the bold shift we make as we unpack what it means to be seated with Christ in the heavenly places and how that position changes everything about prayer, decisions, and daily battles. We move beyond vague encouragement and offer a clear framework for speaking with authority, aligning our words with Scripture, and expecting heaven to act.

We walk through the heartbeat of biblical declarations: when the king speaks, things move. By anchoring our speech in God’s promises, we trade anxious pleading for confident proclamation. You’ll hear how binding and loosing work in real life, what it means to forbid what harms and release what heals, and why delegated authority is not hype but a commission Jesus gave His people. From health scares to financial pressure, we show practical steps to find the verse, voice it aloud, and keep speaking until the atmosphere shifts.

We also address the quiet leaks that weaken authority. If our lives give the accuser ammunition—waste, neglect, hidden compromise—our declarations feel thin. We explore simple, honest practices that close those gaps: diligence with work, stewardship with resources, integrity in small choices, and daily submission to God. James 4:7 becomes the hinge: yield first, then resist. A submitted life speaks with weight, and God answers with movement—ideas, counsel, favour, and peace.

Take this as a one‑week challenge: pair Scripture with daily declarations over your home, health, work, and relationships. Bind what steals, loose what builds, and keep a record of what changes. If this spoke to you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review so more people find this message. What promise are you declaring today?

SPEAKER_00:

Hello, Parklands Baptist Church. What an amazing Monday morning. We want to thank God for today. And we continue to look at our theme: Impartation of Uncommon Positioning, Spirit-led Investment. This is the theme we are engaging for this 11th month of the year. And as you can already see, we are moving forward and we are trusting God that we will finish this year strong. Allow me to bring to us one or two things concerning this theme of this month, concerning impartition of uncommon positioning. The key word here is positioning and the scripture references Ephesians 2.6. The Bible says that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places. The word seated means that our position in Christ is not something that we are contending for, it's not something that we are working about. The authority has already been granted. The reason we are seating is because the victory has already been won. Now the challenge is what kind of life should you be living or how should you be engaging in your life concerning different areas of your life where you want to experience victory? How should you be engaging now that you are seated with Christ in the heavenly places? So that position of sitting is a place of declarations. Friends, I want to tell you that it's a battle of words. By your mouth you can achieve your destiny. By your mouth, you can be able to contend for your destiny. It's an issue of declarations. Ecclesiastes 8 4 says, the word of the king is law, meaning that the king's word is supreme. So what we need to do is to find out what has God said about us, what is God saying about your family, what is God saying about that situation? Maybe you are sick. What is God saying about healing? Maybe you are you are in a season where you are not experiencing provision. What is God saying about him providing for you, about him taking care of your needs? So so the first thing you do is you need to run to the to the word of God because those the verses in the word of God are his commands concerning your situation. As believers, we operate in delegated authority. According to Matthew 16, 19, Jesus said that uh as I have been sent, so I send you. So we have already been sent to begin engaging situations. The challenge with believers today is that we are spending a lot of time praying over things that we should be speaking to, a lot of time crying over things we should be making declarations over, things we should be releasing the word of God, declaring. Friend, if it means you walking around your house with the word of God and just opening that verse and beginning to speak it, you you can do that. Because as you speak that word, then God has raw material that He can use to turn your situation around. So John 20 verse 20 says, As the Father has sent me, so I send you. Matthew 16, 19 talks about binding and losing. What is binding and losing? Binding is restraining, forbidding, disallowing, prohibiting. So, so if you are praying over things or crying over things, that God is asking you, I need you to forbid this, I need you to disallow this, I need you to restrain this, I need you to bind this, I need you to lose this, so that as you are doing that here on earth, as my response representative, because you are operating in delegated authority that has already been made clear in John 2021. As you are busy unleashing those commands and instructions, then the Bible says that as it is on earth, it will be done in heaven, then God will begin to action it. He's going to actualize what you are, what you are saying, what you are speaking. Is it an issue of healing? Is it an issue of distress? As you begin to bind here and say, Oh, I disallow this sickness on my family member, I disallow this child from being wasted, I disallow uh financial losses. As you are making this declaration, the Bible says that whatsoever you shall bind on earth, whatsoever you shall lose on earth, it shall be bound in heaven, it shall be losed in heaven. So as you are busy making declaration, then the king, the supreme king, the supreme word of the king will begin to be actualized. In fact, I sincerely believe that God even will begin to dispatch miracles. Is it possible that there are many answered prayers? Is it possible that there are many answers to prayer that are sitting in heaven because nobody is making a claim, nobody is releasing declarations that God can use. As I uh wind up this um uh this uh session, I want to say this you also must be careful to make sure that you are not allowing things to drain your power, to drain your energy. So deal with things that drain your effectiveness in using the authority. Don't uh don't give the accuser of brethren an opportunity to pick things in your life that you can now go to God and tell him, why are you wanting to provide for her? And and and this is a wasteful person, wasting resources. Why are you wanting to provide for him? And he's not diligent in in his work, he's not diligent in in stewardship. So let's not give uh the enemy a reason. The other one is we need to constantly submit ourselves to God. James 4 7. As you submit yourself to God, it's the place of submission is a place of authority. That's how we actualize our authority. As we submit ourselves uh to God, the Bible says, resist the devil and his he will flee. So this is the key that unlocks our declaration. A submitted life gives you a lot of authority. A submitted life gives your your word, your declarations, your prayers, a lot of authority. I believe that as we engage this week, please take time, just practice the things we are saying. And I believe that at the end of the week you'll be able to come back with that testimony. God bless you. Thank you. Shalom.
