January Week 3 Theme Vision_Year Of True Freedom
Start the year with a promise bold enough to cut through fear, failure, and fatigue: if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. We open John 8:36 and explore what real liberty looks like when it isn’t tied to willpower or wishful thinking but anchored in Jesus’ finished work and the Spirit’s living witness.
First, we trace the foundation of Christian freedom—Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection—and why that matters when life keeps throwing the same chains at us. Instead of chasing quick fixes, we talk about a freedom that reaches the roots: release from shame, addiction, spiritual oppression, and the quiet heaviness that never seems to lift. The Holy Spirit doesn’t offer a slogan; He points us to the Lamb of God and applies grace to places we’ve kept guarded for years.
Then we draw a crucial line: this liberty is for everyone. No gatekeeping, no spiritual class system. Whether you’re young or old, religious or sceptical, near or far—“whoever” really means whoever. We revisit the story of the man in Mark 5 to show how Jesus handles the worst kinds of bondage and why “free indeed” refuses half-measures. Freedom in Christ is not cosmetic; it breaks strongholds and gives back a clear mind, a steady heart, and a restored future.
Finally, we lean into purpose. Freedom doesn’t end with relief; it begins with calling. New creation life, as 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, turns personal breakthrough into public testimony—neighbours notice, families change, and hope moves from one household to the next. Along the way, we offer a simple invitation to receive this gift, not as a yearly resolution, but as a new way to live.
If this message stirs something in you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find it. Let’s walk in a freedom strong enough to last and generous enough to spread.

Happy new year to you. This is the year of the Lord's liberating divine connection. What a powerful theme. And I therefore I bring you a word based on John chapter 8, verse 36, that says the following. This is the year we celebrate the Lord's divine liberating connection. And it's a year when I decree and declare we shall experience the full liberty that is ours in Christ. God wants to see every person set free. And he invested in that dream by giving us a son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, who shed his blood, who was buried, and then he rose on the third day. And God the Father gave us the Son to become the Lamb. And today the Holy Spirit brings a picture of our Lord Jesus Christ and all that he does to us. And if we accept what the Holy Spirit brings to us, that Jesus is the Lamb of God, then we are set free. And Jesus Himself said, So if the Son, if I, Jesus Christ saying, sets you free, you'll be free indeed. I know freedom is something people look for, and some people spend a lot of money trying to be free, free from bondage, free from poverty, free from pain, free from disease. But I want to say to you today that this freedom is available, and this freedom or liberty is found in Jesus Christ. And I pray, even as I speak, that you have found this liberty and freedom in Jesus Christ. And the scripture is very clear: this freedom or this liberty that comes through the Lord's liberating divine connection and through our Lord Jesus Christ, number one, is available for everyone. Because the scripture says, Whoever, you know, whoever, whoever the Son sets free, shall be free indeed. And therefore, this freedom is available for everybody. Everybody around the world is not discriminative, it is available, and this freedom is available for both the young and the old, and it doesn't matter where you may be right now in terms of uh bondage or disease or any other challenge in life, this freedom is available for you. The freedom in Christ is available for all. But secondly, let me say that this freedom or liberty is one that releases someone from any kind of stronghold or any kind of shackles or chains because it is based on the power that comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore, it is a liberty that comes and it is described as set free indeed. Whoever the Son of God sets free is free indeed. And therefore, it's a freedom or a liberty that completely, completely releases you from any form of bondage. I'm reminded of the demoniac in Mark chapter 5, who was in bondage to demons, and there were so many in his life, but Jesus came and set him free and free him, freed him completely. The demons took off, went to the pigs, the pigs went to the water and died. But this guy was set free and free completely. But finally, let me say that this liberty that comes through the Lord's liberating divine connection is one that releases a person to serve the Lord, to become a testimony. And I declare that you shall be released and freed in such a way, even your neighbors and your family will say, This person is totally different. 2 Corinthians 5.17 says, if anyone is in Christ, he's a new creation. The old is gone, behold, the new has come. And therefore, I share with you once again the verse, John 8, verse 36. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Are you ready and willing to receive today and this year this freedom and this liberty that comes through our Lord Jesus Christ? I pray that you may experience the true freedom that you can only find in Jesus Christ today and the whole year, and not just you, your household as well. Be released, be freed right now in Jesus' name. Amen.
