January Week 4 Theme Vision_Season Of Liberation
What if real freedom doesn’t start with effort, but with connection? We unpack a bold, hopeful vision for a season of liberation rooted in Jesus Christ—clear, scriptural, and practical. From Hosea’s call to seek knowledge to Hebrews’ claim that God now speaks through his Son, we lay a foundation that moves faith from sentiment to substance and shows why liberation is not a slogan but a promise.
We trace how the gospel reframes life: John 3:16 reveals love that rescues, while John 10:10 exposes the thief’s agenda and points us to abundant life. Drawing on Israel’s deliverance as a pattern, we name today’s chains—sin, fear, poverty, oppression—and point to Jesus as the heir of all things who breaks them. You’ll hear why salvation is the gateway to healing, provision, and courage, and why divine connection matters more than willpower. The example of Mary reminds us that when the Spirit overshadows a life, the impossible becomes inevitable.
This conversation gets practical fast. We talk open doors, fresh strength for the weary, mercy for the broken, and supply for the empty. We adopt a new posture—seated with Christ in heavenly places—and we learn to confront what holds us down with what God has spoken. Expect language that is simple and direct, promises anchored in Scripture, and an invitation to sing a new song of freedom. If you’ve felt pressed, overlooked, or stuck, this is your cue to step into a year marked by divine power and daily grace.

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. What a great season that God has given us this month, the month of power of vision. We have been going through the exposition of our theme for this year of liberating divine connection. It is a great season that God has given us. And the Bible says in the book of Hosiah, chapter 4, verse 6 My people perish for lack of knowledge. And God has been able to give us what he wants to do in this season. He has been able to re-brate to us what he is doing amongst us as a church, as individuals, as family, as a nation. And so we are going through a great season of rebirthing divine connection. The Bible says in the book of Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 1 and 2 in the past, God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways. But in these last days, he has spoken to us by his son, whom he appointed to be hearer of all things, and through whom he made the universe. God was speaking in the days of the past amongst our people through the prophets, through the ancestors, but in this season, the last day, he speaks to us through his son Jesus Christ. And so when we speak about liberating divine connection, we are pointing our theme unto him, Jesus Christ, who is the liberator of life. The Bible says in the book of John, chapter 3, verse 16, for God so loved the world, he gave his only son that whosoever believes in him might not perish but have eternal life. That is what liberation is all about, being set free. The Bible also says in the book of John, chapter 10, verse 10, that the thief comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But Jesus came that we may have life and have it in abundance. And so in this great season of liberating, our liberator is Jesus Christ. We remember the story of the children of Israel who stayed for 400 years in wilderness, in the slavery and God came to liberate them from this slavery. And in this season, God is doing the same thing. Through Jesus Christ, who He made the hearer of all things that were created, He came to liberate His people, to liberate them from sin, to liberate them from defeat, to liberate them from fear, to liberate them from slavery of all sorts, from demonic oppression. God is our liberator who through Jesus Christ. And so this is a great season as we go through the exposition and the vision of this year to realize that Jesus is the liberator of our lives. And he has come to liberate us from sin, from slavery, from deaths, from fear, from poverty, from those things that have put us that we cannot be able to meet our full potential. And as Christ is setting us free in this season, we are so grateful that he has been able to release this word and this vision this year that we are getting liberated. And how are we getting this liberation? Through the power of salvation. This is what we are calling divine connection. Through Jesus Christ, we receive the power of salvation. And that power is not given by money, it's not given by the strength of man. It's given by the divine purposes of God. This is the divine power that met Mary and made her the spirit. The Bible says that the spirit of the Lord came and brewed over Mary, and she was able to conceive. This was divine. And this divine connection of this year, God is speaking to us and telling us He is doing something divine, something powerful. So we shall have power that comes from the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the liberator. And this divine power will make his children to come out of all things that makes them to be oppressed. It is through this divine power that we are able to receive salvation. Through this divine power, we are able to come out of slavery. Through this divine power, the children of God will experience open doors. We'll experience his grace. We'll experience his mercy. We experience his faithfulness. And so as we engage this year, it is good for us to realize that God has come to liberate his children. I'm looking forward for an exciting year as we speak about this vision, about the power of God that brings divine connection with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This connection will help us to be rebarated in our sort. It is my desire that every one of us will experience liberation. Anything that holds you down, anything that keeps you out, anything that presses you down, anything that makes you go without, this is the liberating season where God is setting us free. May God take us out of every sickness. This liberating power through the divine connection will give us divine healing, divine restoration. From those who are weak, they will find strong strength. For those who do not have, God is going to make sure that they get a full supply. For those who have been oppressed, it's time to know that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places. And now we have our liberation. It's a time to sing a song of freedom, a song that we have been set free in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
